Dilemma

Is it better to deceive one into virtue,
or to offer the truth their destruction requires?
For disillusionment to snuff out a light,
or cracks in the bulb to burn it out slow?
To buckle down alongside our abusers,
or to flip them off as we crumble into ash?
I think this is how a God supposedly watches over us,
but my better half knows it was for the power.
