Perfectionism

2025/01/25

Perfectionism is like a shark;
powerful in its element, but useless outside.
It’s a glass cannon, with its imposing maw
ready to chew up damn near anything.
But the maw defines it.
Attention to another limb destabilizes it,
and just like that the cannon shatters.
A human can push past missing arms, paralysis,
but what use is a shark without its teeth?
