There is a conflict possessing my heart
Of those who hate and those who spread hate.
Who is earnest? Who is apathetic?
Who takes glee in the suffering of others?

Are we being mislead?
Are we merely pawns in an invaded hall?
Doomed to lend ourselves to the powerful,
Or suffer the chains of solitude?
